Lumière began in a small kitchen, with one face oil and a stubborn belief that less, done well, is enough.
We do not chase the new. We refine the few things we make until they earn their place on your shelf.
The first batch sold out in a weekend, to friends and the friends of friends. We never planned to grow quickly, and we still do not. Each formula takes the better part of a year to settle on, tested on real skin through real seasons.
What you hold is the result of that patience: cold-pressed oils, gentle ferments, and a refusal to pad a label with names meant to impress rather than work.

Every formula is built from a list you can read aloud. If a thing has no reason to be there, it is left out.

We mix in fifties, fill by hand, and date each bottle. Freshness over shelf life, always.
